Trainee Teacher - Full-Time | Cranleigh, Near Dorking, Surrey
Salary: £20,000 - £23,000 per annum | Term-Time Only (40 hours/week)

A specialist independent day school near Cranleigh, Surrey, is seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join as Trainee Teachers
. The school supports children aged 4-19 with autism and related communication difficulties, offering personalised learning in a well-resourced, nurturing setting.
- Work with pupils individually and in small groups to support their academic, social, and emotional development
- Follow structured, evidence-based teaching methods including Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including speech and language therapists and occupational therapists
- Receive comprehensive training and support to gain qualifications relevant to teaching and special educational needs (SEN)
- A genuine interest in education and working with children and young people with special needs
- Excellent communication, patience, and a positive attitude
- Minimum of Grade C/4 in English Language and Maths at GCSE (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working with children (in any capacity) is desirable but not essential
- Full training including the opportunity to gain a Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning
- A clear career pathway with options to progress into teaching or therapy roles
- A supportive and collaborative team environment
