SEND Teaching Assistants - Immediate Start | Dorking | Temp to Permanent

We are recruiting enthusiastic and resilient SEND Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school in Dorking, supporting children and young people with autism, complex learning needs, communication difficulties and social, emotional and behavioural needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced SEND professionals, care workers, youth workers, psychology graduates or anyone with a passion for supporting vulnerable young people.

The Role:

* Supporting students both in and out of the classroom

* Helping pupils develop communication, social and independence skills

* Working alongside teachers, therapists and support staff

* Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

* Full-time, Monday to Friday

Requirements:

* Experience supporting children, young people or adults with additional needs (preferred)

* Ability to provide professional references covering recent employment

* Enhanced Child & Adult Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
