Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this permanent position, applicants must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Experience: Relevant Special Educational Needs (SEN) experience is required.
  • Background: Proven experience working with children or young adults in either a paid or voluntary capacity.
  • Qualifications:
    GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or equivalent) or a verified equivalent standard.
  • Eligibility: A valid right to work in the UK is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the class teacher in the planning and delivery of engaging, interactive, and inclusive lessons
    .
  • Providing targeted support to neurodiverse learners on a 1:1, small group, and whole-class basis
    .
  • Encouraging self-reliance, emotional regulation, and social development among high-needs pupils.
  • Utilising specialised on-site resources to manage complex learning profiles effectively.
