Actuarial Manager

Develop, influence and manage work in one of the following areas:
Actuarial Reporting, Pricing, Actuarial Risk & Capital, Claims, Actuarial Systems, and Risk.

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

• Liaise with and act as a point of contact for the broader business, providing explanations on areas of expertise for internal customers around the company.
• Provide line management and training to others as required.
• Develop and manage work in one of the following areas depending on business needs:
  Actuarial Risk & Capital, Pricing, Actuarial Reporting, Actuarial Systems, Claims, Risk.
• Possess a high level of knowledge and play a lead role in at least one of the areas above while actively developing knowledge in other areas as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Newly qualified Actuary.
• Degree level education at grade 2:1 or above, preferably in a numerical subject.
• Previous experience in the Life Insurance industry is an advantage.
• Knowledge of actuarial life insurance systems and software is an advantage.
• Expert understanding of Excel software.
• Able to manage a number of actuarial trainees and provide on-the-job and career coaching.
