Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable, family-run garage located in Dorking for the position of vehicle technician. • Competitive salary up to £38,000 per year, depending on experience
• Monday to Friday working hours from 8 am to 5.30 pm, with no weekend work

• Conducting vehicle servicing and repairs to high standards
• Performing MOT testing and ensuring compliance with safety and emissions standards
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults accurately
• Providing clear communication to customers regarding repair work
• Maintaining productivity and quality within the workshop environment
• Emphasising customer satisfaction through professional service

• Proven experience as a vehicle technician, with relevant recognised qualifications
• Ability to carry out MOT testing or willingness to obtain the qualification
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and proactive attitude
• Team player with a positive outlook and a customer-focused approach
• Recent qualification and local experience advantageous, but all relevant skill levels are considered
