** 13 Product Proposition Manager  Hybrid – 3 days a week in Dorking office

We are seeking an experienced Product Proposition Manager to work in partnership with the Head of Product Proposition to own, manage, and execute Unum’s Product Roadmap. This role is critical in supporting our strategic pillars and performance metrics to drive sustainable growth across our  protection portfolios.

You will play a key role in shaping and delivering innovative product propositions across Group Life, Group Income Protection, and Group Critical Illness with a strong focus on multinational and complex risk arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain Unum’s Protection Product Roadmap, aligned to strategic objectives and growth metrics.  
• Develop,  deliver and manage targeted  protection product propositions to support multinational clients and distribution partners.  
• Lead value proposition development for multinational arrangements, including pooled, captive, and retained risk structures, supporting portfolio growth.  
• Work closely with internal stakeholders across Product, Pricing, Marketing, Underwriting, Distribution, and Operations to ensure product propositions support good customer outcomes and are commercially viable and operationally deliverable.  
• Monitor and respond to macroeconomic, regulatory, and market developments impacting multinational and group risk solutions.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong background and in-depth knowledge of the health and protection insurance industry, including group risk.  
• Proven experience working with global employee benefits networks and multinational clients.  
• Demonstrable expertise in multinational pooled, captive, and retained risk arrangements, including an understanding of the challenges these structures face in the current macroeconomic environment.  
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate strategy into executable product roadmaps.  
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
