Warehouse Operative

Warehouse Operative – Dorking Permanent Full-Time 40 Hours per Week Alternating weekly

Shifts:

• 8:30am – 5:30pm (Mon–Fri)
• 10:00am – 7:00pm (Mon–Fri)
  (Each day includes a 60‑minute unpaid lunch break
  )

We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a friendly, fast‑paced logistics environment where accuracy, teamwork and excellent service are key. As a Warehouse Operative
, you’ll support daily operations across goods‑in, stock control, order processing and dispatch, helping ensure smooth workflow and high service levels.

In this Warehouse Operative role, your duties will include:

• Receiving, storing, picking, and packing materials and equipment
• Accurately recording all stock and inventory information
• Using scanners, computer terminals, and warehouse software
• Operating pallet trucks and manual handling equipment (training provided)
• Operating forklifts (Reach or Counterbalance) if trained/authorised
• Maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards
• Supporting timely shipping and dispatch activities

• Experience working as a Warehouse Operative or similar
• Background in goods receipt and dispatch
• Familiarity with automated warehouse systems
• Strong understanding of health & safety standards
• Ability to work accurately under pressure

• Forklift licence (or willingness to train)
• Full clean driving licence
• SAP MM/IM experience
• Experience with automotive parts

• Able to work independently and handle manual tasks
