Relief Housekeeping Assistant

As a Relief Housekeeper, you will step in when needed to help maintain a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for residents. Whether you're supporting cleaning schedules, helping with laundry or ensuring communal areas look their best, your work will make a visible difference every day.

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms and communal areas
• Follow infection prevention and health and safety procedures
• Support laundry duties and linen management
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleaning equipment
• Identify and report maintenance issues
• Help maintain a safe and pleasant environment throughout the service
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the home

You will be organised, reliable and have a strong attention to detail. You'll enjoy practical work and take pride in achieving high standards. Previous housekeeping, cleaning or hospitality experience is welcome but not essential. Most importantly, you'll understand that your work helps create a positive environment where residents can feel comfortable and supported.

As a Christian organisation, you must respect all aspects of Christian worship.

You will also need to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks, and you will be required to adhere to the SSSC Code of practice.
