Join a supportive, people-focused organisation, where strong leadership and a safety-first culture are at the heart of how we operate. We value clear communication, continuous improvement, and doing the right thing-especially during night operations when consistency and calm decision-making matter most. If you're looking for a role where you can lead a team, maintain high standards, and make a real difference on shift, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate night shift activities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Lead the night team by setting clear priorities, allocating tasks, and monitoring progress throughout the shift.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety requirements, and relevant workplace standards.
  • Carry out shift handovers effectively, ensuring accurate communication of key updates, risks, and actions.
  • Monitor performance against operational targets and take corrective action when required.
  • Support training and development of team members, including coaching on processes and best practice.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation in line with internal requirements.
  • Escalate issues promptly to the appropriate manager and assist with problem-solving and root-cause actions.
  • Promote a positive working environment, ensuring team members are treated fairly and respectfully.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or team-lead role, ideally within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to direct others clearly during night hours.
  • Sound understanding of health and safety practices, including risk awareness and safe working behaviours.
  • Ability to manage priorities, make decisions under pressure, and maintain high standards consistently.
  • Good organisational skills, including attention to detail for shift records and documentation.
  • Experience working night shifts and managing the challenges of reduced staffing and limited support.
  • Competence with basic IT systems used for shift reporting and record keeping.
  • Relevant qualification in a supervisory, operations, or workplace safety discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Any recognised workplace safety certification (such as IOSH or NEBOSH) would be advantageous.
  • Experience of working in a 4 or 5 star hospitality environment is preferred.
