This is a role for someone who genuinely cares about getting things right. Working within an established aerospace manufacturing business, you'll have real influence across production, engineering, and inspection, championing a right-first-time culture and driving the kind of improvements that make a lasting difference.

If you're methodical, technically grounded, and motivated by mastery of your craft, there's a lot here to get your teeth into.

As a Quality Engineer, you will benefit from:

  • Early finish on Fridays
  • Time and a half overtime
  • Critical illness and life cover
  • Company sick pay scheme
  • 33 days holiday
  • Onsite parking

As a Quality Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining AS9100 and ISO
    9001
quality system requirements across the business, including inspection activities
  • Reviewing and auditing operating procedures to ensure effectiveness and compliance, producing associated reports
  • Championing continuous improvement activity and identifying potential areas for improvement across manufacturing
  • Releasing conforming product in line with customer requirements, including Certificates of Conformance
  • Participating in new product introduction (NPI), development projects, and failure investigations

As a Quality Engineer, your experience will include:

  • A minimum of three years' experience as a Quality Inspector or Quality Engineer, ideally within aerospace
  • Solid working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO
    9001
    quality systems
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently
  • Knowledge of sheet metal, composites, mechanical assemblies, and manufacturing methods
  • HNC or HND qualified, or time-served with a recognised apprenticeship

If you're looking for a technically rewarding Quality Engineer role where your attention to detail and drive for improvement will be noticed and valued, this could be the right move.
