Role Overview

Come and join our friendly and supportive Facilities team as a Removal and Deep Clean Operative. Roles are based at either Weymouth Hospital or Dorset Health Care  HQ, Poole.

• Carry out deep cleans in wards, kitchen areas and theatres, working in conjunction with site housekeeping staff and ensuring the maintaining of National Cleaning Standards. Training will be provided for any machinery used during these cleans.
• As the Removal Support, carry out office moves, or furniture/hospital removals. Responsible for the transport, safe storage, delivery/collection of items such as medical devices, office and hospital furniture (beds, wardrobes, mobile oven units, hoists), and the dismantling and assembling of equipment as required.
• Perform specialist cleaning tasks/duties across multiple sites within the Trust, including carrying out cleaning procedures to prescribed standards and in accordance with the work schedule, hospital policies and department operating procedures, either on an individual basis or as part of a team. Use specialist equipment for the deep cleaning process and terminal cleaning for which required training will be provided.
• This role is a full‑time position, hours 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday with some flexibility; weekend working may be required. Cover all Trust sites located across Dorset. Work vehicles are provided for use only and must be returned daily to the relevant base.

• Full UK Driver’s Licence.
• Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required.
