Support Worker Opportunities - Dorset Area

Velox Social Care is currently recruiting passionate, dedicated, and experienced Support Workers to join our team across the Dorset area. You will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality, person-centred care for Children and Young People (CYP) who require structured support.

Your Role:
As a Support Worker, you’ll provide encouragement, understanding, and patience to help our young people progress and thrive. You’ll be working closely with both our Care Management Team and external agencies, maintaining accurate daily logs and reports to ensure the best care possible.
Your role will involve a blend of long and short shifts, with opportunities for flexibility.
Shift Patterns:
We offer a range of flexible shift options, including both days and nights. Flexibility is key, as our clients’ needs may require a mix of shift types.
Key Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
* Right to Work in the UK
* A minimum of 6 months’ experience in a similar CYP setting in the UK
* 3 References: 2 professional, 1 character
* In-date PMVA or Team Teach certificate
* Enhanced Child DBS subscribed to the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Relevant qualifications in Health & Social Care
* Drivers and Non-Drivers welcome
* Experience in challenging behaviours (both Male and Female candidates encouraged to apply)
* Business Insurance (BI) and Physical Intervention (PI) experience is desirable
