We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology/Blood Transfusion to join our client’s team in Dorset. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.

You will perform full blood counts, coagulation studies, and blood film morphology. You will ensure accurate analysis, maintain quality control, and collaborate with clinical teams.

• - HCPC registration
• - Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
• - Experience in Haematology & Blood Transfusion within a clinical NHS laboratory
• - Experience with QPulse, DxH
  900,Stago STA-Ma, and Starrsed ESR
• - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• - NHS experience (preferred)
