Firefighter Recruitment Advisor – Dorset and Wiltshire FRS

As an Operational & Control Recruitment Advisor
in our People Department you will:

• Play a vital role in keeping communities safe by supporting the planning and delivery of recruitment across the Service, including on-call and wholetime firefighters, senior officers, Fire Control (999 operators), and promotionsprocesses
• Build strong partnerships with managers and People Partners to deliver a high-quality, responsive, and inclusive recruitment service
• Act as a trusted advisor on operational and Fire Control recruitment and selection, providing clear, specialist advice
• Ensure all recruitment activity meets the highest standards of fairness, transparency, and compliance with employment legislation, safer recruitment, and vetting requirements

• Post specific qualification at Level 3 or above, or relevant experience of working in the HR environment at that level
• Broad knowledge of working in an HR environment with experience of providing advice and guidance in an HR setting
• Experience of meeting best practice guidelines and employment legislation requirements, minimising organisational risk

Salary: £31,537 - £33,143 per annum rising by annual increments to £33,143
