Production Technician

We are recruiting for skilled Production Technician's to join a busy engineering production team near Christchurch.

This role involves a mix of electrical and mechanical assembly, working to detailed engineering drawings to deliver high-quality products to schedule.

The duties for Production Technician will include:

Electrical assembly of modules and cabinet builds
Mechanical assembly and product testing
Working from mechanical and electrical engineering drawings
Potential involvement in high-tolerance fitting and calibration
Ensuring high standards of quality and attention to detail

Experience required for the Production Technician role:

Experience working in a workshop/production environment
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
Confident using hand tools
Electrical panel wiring and precision mechanical assembly experience advantageous

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician looking to work within a structured, quality-driven engineering environment.
The role will be paying a competiive salary and will be working 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
