Temporary Fabricator

A leading engineering and manufacturing business based in Christchurch is looking for a Temporary Fabricator to start ASAP and assist with an influx of in orders.

The company specialises in high-quality structures and glazing solutions and are seeking a temporary Window Fabricator to join the team, they are offering a competitive salary of £13-£17ph DOE and offering work for the next 1-2 months, this role is perfect for professionals seeking interim work or a short-term opportunity while exploring their next long-term opportunity.  

Duties for the Successful Temporary Fabricator:
Fabricating aluminium windows and doors from technical drawings and production documents
Operating machinery as well as carrying out assembly work using hand and power tools in line with technical manuals
Ensuring all work is completed to high quality and safety standards
Packing and loading finished products ready for delivery and export
Unloading and checking incoming deliveries
Handling materials and finished products safely in line with manual handling procedures
Assisting with remedial work on-site when required
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Experience Required to be Considered for the Temporaray Fabricator Role:
Previous experience working with aluminium is essential either within fabrication or assembly.
Experience operating mitre saws and CNC machinery would be advantageous
Ability to read and work from technical drawings and production documents
Strong practical and hands-on skills
Excellent attention to detail with pride in producing high-quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
