We have a contract vacancy for an assistant herdsperson on a robotic unit in Dorset. The successful candidate will work alongside the farmer and daughter, carrying out feeding, scraping and bedding, young stock work, fencing and robot maintenance with a strong welfare focus.
The role includes day-to-day management in the farmer's absence, on a well-run family farm with 140 pedigree Holsteins and on-farm housing provided. Contract is for ~50 hours per week.
