About the role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Drug & Alcohol Recovery Practitioner to join our Reach Out partnership. Working alongside Waythrough and our dedicated team, you will support individuals with complex needs to access treatment, reduce harm, and begin or continue their recovery journey.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by providing trauma-informed, strengths-based support to people experiencing homelessness, substance misuse, and multiple disadvantage.

We offer:
  • Salary of £31,200 per annum for this role.
  • 6.6 weeks annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).

About Us

The Bus Shelter Dorset offers rough sleepers or those at risk of homelessness a safe place to live with access to a supportive community environment and 24-hour high support tailored to meet their individual needs. In 2022 we were awarded the “Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service”.

Our aims and objectives – ‘To relieve the needs of homeless persons, or those at risk of homelessness, by the provision of temporary accommodation, advice, signposting and support’
