Specialist - Accounting

Specialist – Accounting – Spectra Care Health Systems, Inc. – Administration Office, Dothan, Alabama.

Working Hours:

Monday–Thursday 7:30 am–5 pm;
Friday 7:30 am–11:30 am. Alabama State Retirement Option.

• Prepares and reviews accounting and financial reports and helps to ensure accurate accounting systems and record keeping.
• Maintains computerized fixed asset accounting system and files.
• Prepares daily bank deposit.
• Performs other accounting duties as required or as requested by the CFO or Controller.
• Maintains regular attendance with timely arrival and departure according to scheduled hours; all absences must be reported to the Controller, his/her designee or Chief Human Resources Officer.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least one year of bookkeeping experience required.
• Experience using accounting software such as Quicken or Quick Books as necessary.

• Two (2) years accounting experience.
• Some governmental accounting experience preferred.
