Hospitalist Physician

We are seeking multiple Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Hospitalists (MD/DO) to join a large, established hospital-employed group in Dothan, AL. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a robust inpatient program offering flexible schedules, strong support, and competitive compensation.

• Schedule: 7 on/7 off rotation

• Shifts: 12-hour shifts (day or night), 15 shifts per month

• Patient Load: Average patients per day

• Case Mix: General inpatient care; admit and co-manage adult patients in an open ICU with intensivist support

• Support: Dedicated admitters and rounders, APP support, and 24/7 subspecialty coverage

• Responsibilities:

  • Provide coverage for unassigned ED patients requiring inpatient admission

  • Care for transfers and inpatient consults

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives

• Charting: EPIC EMR system

• Salary: Highly competitive base compensation with productivity bonus

• Sign-On Bonus: $100,000 package
