Our client is a leader in integrated building automation solutions, focused on delivering innovative and energy-efficient technology that powers smarter and more sustainable facilities. We are seeking an experienced Controls Technician with hands-on experience in Honeywell or Schneider Electric systems to join their expanding team.

This role is ideal for a technician with both IT and mechanical aptitude and experience in Tridium N4 or Schneider Eco Struxure (EBO) platforms.

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot building automation systems (Honeywell/Schneider Electric)
• Program and configure controllers to optimize HVAC, lighting, and metering systems
• Integrate control systems with network infrastructures and support IT connectivity
• Diagnose and repair mechanical systems interacting with automation controls
• Perform system upgrades, apply firmware/software advancements, and improve system performance
• Provide technical support and training to both customers and internal teams
• Maintain accurate service records and system documentation
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency support

Required:

• 3+ years of experience working with controls (Honeywell, Schneider, or Tridium N4 systems)
• Strong HVAC knowledge and mechanical troubleshooting experience
• IT networking experience (configuration, connectivity, diagnostics)
• Ability to read/interprete wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
• Tridium N4 or Schneider EBO experience (N4 certification strongly preferred)
• Strong problem-solving ability and ability to work independently

Preferred:

• Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, HVAC, IT, or similar field (not required)
• Experience mentoring or training others
• Additional certifications in automation or energy management
• Mechanical service technician background is a plus

• Excellent technical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
