Structural Engineer

Our client, a well-established engineering firm serving the Gulf Coast region, is seeking a Structural Engineer (PE or EI) with 2+ years of experience in the design and analysis of buildings, bridges, and other structural systems. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing structural design, analysis, and inspection work across residential, commercial, and public infrastructure projects. The position requires a focus on structural safety, code compliance, and hurricane-resistant design principles. You’ll collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure safe, durable, and cost-effective results.

• Design and analyze structural components using tools such as SAP, Tekla, or STAAD.
• Apply code-compliant, hurricane-resistant, and coastal design standards.
• Prepare structural drawings, reports, and documentation for construction and permitting.
• Conduct site assessments and prepare repair or inspection reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients and project partners to ensure timely project delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant design and/or analysis experience.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software and knowledge of applicable codes.
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to meet deadlines.

Competitive salary range: $63,000–$150,000
, based on experience.
