- School Based (Dothan City School System)

Position will be based at our Children's Services Clinic in Dothan.

Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm

Alabama State Retirement Option Available

• Completing intakes
• Providing family education when appropriate
• Maintaining consumer records using an electronic clinical record system
• Record and staff case loads in accordance with Spectra Care, Alabama DMH and Medicaid standards
• Link consumers to other services within and outside the Spectra Care program

• Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work or related human services field
• Has successfully completed a clinical practicum or has six (6) months post master’s clinical experience supervised by a master’s level or above clinician with two years of postgraduate clinical experience
• Willing to obtain a substance abuse counselor certification credential within thirty (30) months of hire if employee does not have one
• Must have good motor vehicle report- subject to MVR checks
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background and drug screen
• Must obtain CPR certification upon hire
• Licensure in the State of Alabama as an LPC, LICSW or LMFT is preferred but not required
• Must meet insurability requirements to drive a system vehicle (21 years of age)
