Scope& Responsibilities
This position reports to the Sr. Director, IT Solutions Delivery, Finance & G&A and has accountability for providing production support, month‑end financial close support, maintenance, administration, enhancement, implementation, and optimization of solutions that improve business process efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Lead the definition of One Stream system platform and project scope and actively engage until implementation, ensuring design is in sync with business needs and hardware.
- Provide design and architecture guidance to project teams for larger projects or initiatives related to One Stream, including development, implementation, and support activities such as training, documentation, and adherence to IT methodology and best practices.
- Translate business requirements into specific solutions, applications, or process designs for larger projects or initiatives in collaboration with project teams.
- Identify and evaluate integration opportunities for lower‑tier systems, including new technologies, tools, shared data, and interfaces, and monitor integration success.
- Act as subject‑matter expert in areas such as system platform design, business process, software and hardware architecture, or project management related to One Stream.
- Establish communication and documentation approaches, evangelize new technologies, standards, and methodologies, and effectively document change management for systems and processes.
- Define and maintain the strategic roadmap for One Stream, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technological advancements.
- Lead architecture and design of the One Stream platform, ensuring scalability, technical excellence, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable technical solutions, driving successful implementation and integration.
- Guide the design and build of seamless integrations with source systems, ensuring reliable and accurate data flow into One Stream.
- Direct design and build of financial models, reporting frameworks, dashboards, and analytics to align with business requirements.
- Conduct assessment reviews of One Stream to identify enhancements that optimize functionality and user experience.
- Provide strategic recommendations for process improvements and adoption of new features within One Stream.
- Operate month‑end close activities, monitor integrations, manage ticket queue, and perform monthly application maintenance.
- Configure and test systems to execute features, integration, and reporting.
- Serve as liaison between business process owners and IT.
- Support SOX and other regulatory compliance audits and requirements.
- Provide training, coaching, and knowledge transfer to team members.
- Other incidental duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- A minimum of twelve years of IT experience (or ten years with a Master’s degree).
- One Stream design/integration experience.
- Consolidation Accounting experience.
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Certifications in related disciplines (programming, database development, project management, etc.) and architecture certifications such as TOGAF or Zachman.
- Experience in regulated industries such as medical device or pharmaceuticals.
- Knowledge of other EPM tools (Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP BPC).
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
