Windows Systems Administrator/Engineer PERMANENT W2-No C2C ONSITE in Dothan, AL Precision Resources is seeking a mid-level Windows Systems Administrator/Engineer for a permanent, onsite role in Dothan, AL. The position manages Windows Server, virtualization, and enterprise storage environments. • Administer Windows Server across physical, virtual, and cloud environments
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file/print services, permissions, and remote access
• Deploy, patch, and support servers, applications, virtual machines, hosts, and clusters
• Manage SAN, NAS, and cloud storage capacity, performance, migrations, and access
• Maintain inventories, documentation, patching, compliance reports, and audit evidence
• Apply security hardening and CMMC-aligned controls
• Manage backups, restores, disaster recovery, replication, and failover testing
• Standardize acquired infrastructure and support system integrations
• Partner with network and security teams on troubleshooting, projects, risks, and roadmap priorities Requirements
• 3–5 years of Windows Server administration or systems engineering experience
• Hands-on expertise with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file services, and server hardening
• Experience with virtualization, hybrid cloud workloads, and SAN/NAS storage
• Experience managing enterprise backups and restores
• Working knowledge of security frameworks and infrastructure compliance
• U.S. citizenship or valid Green Card

Preferred Experience:

• VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V, or similar virtualization platforms
• Rubrik, Veeam, Commvault, or similar backup tools
• Pure Storage, Net App, Dell EMC, or similar storage platforms
• Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra , and cloud collaboration tools
• Azure or another hybrid cloud platform;
Azure Site Recovery or Zerto
• Linux administration or SQL Server maintenance experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience Must be a US Citizen or have a valid US Green Card Corp to Corp or Candidates requiring sponsorship will not be considered.
