We are currently seeking:
Operations Manager – Physical Security

The Operations Manager – Physical Security is responsible for assisting with and administration of scheduling, manpower allocation, and effective use of subcontractor resources under the direction and supervision of the Director of Project Operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of our perimeter security projects.

Responsibilities

  • Project Scheduling:
    • Manage the overall long-term and short-term project schedules for the Physical Security Department, ensuring all key milestones and deadlines are met as outlined within our contractual requirements under the supervision of the Director of Project Operations.
    • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractor partners, and other stakeholders to ensure project schedules are accurately reflected in Physical Security department schedule.
    • Coordinate with Project Managers to adjust schedules and manpower as needed to address any delays or changes in project scope.
    • Assist with the department’s planning and ability to meet workforce performance requirement for each project.
    • Identify potential scheduling risks and develop strategy to mitigate said risk. Monitor progress of plan to completion.
    • Coordinates with Director of Project Operations on potential manpower shortages in long-term planning.
  • Manpower Allocation:
    • In partnership with the project managers, assess project requirements and allocate appropriate manpower resources to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
    • Optimize workforce scheduling and deployment to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Subcontractor Resource Management:
    • Proactively work with and support each project manager to help identify, evaluate, and select subcontractors for various project scopes of work.
    • Coordinate with the Project Managers to monitor subcontractor schedules.
  • Support, Train, and hold Project Managers accountable on company processes and documentation control including but not limited to:
    • Subcontractor Procurement Process
    • Scheduling processes and Communication
  • Support Director of Field Operations on company field processes.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software.
  • Familiar with Blue Beam Revu or similar software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3 years of related construction project management or operations management experience
  • Experience with MS Office Suite required
  • Experience with Blue Beam Revu preferred
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Lifting up to 80 lbs.
