Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on day shifts, requiring an active AL or compact RN license and at least one year of recent Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Medical/Surgical unit on Floor 1

• Patient care setting is Medical/Surgical with typical Med/Surg caseload

• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

• Assignment is for an 8-week duration

• Returned travelers must have at least a two-year gap since prior permanent employment at any CHS facility

• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be less than one week

• No local travelers allowed within a 50-mile radius

• Required to provide care for a variety of adult medical and surgical patients

• Must adhere to hospital policies and unit protocols

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license required

• Minimum of one year of recent experience in the Med/Surg specialty required

• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the start date

• Candidates must not have been permanent staff at any CHS facility within the last 2 years

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
