• Unit: 3 Central Pediatrics (7 beds, census 3-7)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date:
  
  November 10, 2025
• End Date:
  February 9, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 3 shifts/week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Coverage:
  Required (12 weekend shifts per contract)
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470 - $1570

• Active Alabama RN license or eligibility to obtain (submit with license pending)
• Minimum 1 year of recent pediatric nursing experience (2 years preferred)
• Travel nursing experience preferred; strong candidates without travel experience will be considered
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Experience with adult GYN/Med Surg patients is a plus
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions for COVID-19 only)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates)

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients (neonates, infants, children, adolescents) and occasional adult GYN/Med Surg patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, social services, and rapid response teams
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and document clinical care accurately
• Educate and support patient families throughout the care process
• Participate in unit orientation and complete required training modules
• Float within scope of practice as needed for clinical support
