Travel LPN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg LPN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring BLS, NIHSS, and 1+ years of recent Med/Surg experience.

• License required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg LPN experience required
• IV certification preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Work in a Medical Surgical unit
• 13-week travel assignment
• Night shift schedule (7p-7a)
• Provide direct patient care under RN direction including physical examination, ADLs, education, medication administration, peripheral IV therapy, discharge planning, and documentation
• Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in care delivery
• Delegate and supervise patient care tasks commensurate with staff experience and education
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Previous CHS perm staff employees are not eligible if employed within the past 2 years
