As a General Merchandise Expert, you help ensure a consistent guest experience by keeping product set, in-stock status, pricing, and signage accurate on the sales floor. You will support inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes, conduct inventory accuracy, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and price changes as directed. You will assist with select fulfillment activities to enable efficient guest service.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests needing assistance to help solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re glad they shopped at Target.
• Execute daily tasks to support business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• If certified, operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures.
• Execute processes including price changes, merchandise setup and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed by leadership.
• Be knowledgeable about store resources and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking/packing orders or delivering pickup orders) and maintain compliance with applicable laws.
• All other duties based on business needs.
