Residential Installation & Service Technician

Overview

Residential Installation & Service Technician ponsible for broadband installation and troubleshooting of voice, video, and data services.

• Hourly pay: $18.20/hr + quarterly bonuses
• Paid training, health/dental/vision, 8 company holidays, 21 paid days off

• Perform installations, changes, and service calls, following company procedures and safety practices.
• Troubleshoot drop from tap to customer equipment; design basic home networks using coax, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, MoCA.
• Record work details accurately for customer account.
• Determine service acceptability, adjust or fix service to meet quality standards.
• Deliver customer education on equipment, service, and company policies.
• Maintain vehicle, tools, and equipment; report repairs or accidents.
• Operate installation tools, technology, and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostics.
• Navigate digital tools, including work order management and diagnostics.
• Comply with licensing and background check requirements.
• Work in various weather, confined spaces, and high places; lift and carry up to 70 lbs; drive company vehicle responsibly.

High School Diploma / GED. Technical knowledge; strong communication, critical thinking, problem solving. Ability to work nights, weekends, variable schedule, perform physical work.
