This skilled position involves repairing and maintaining road construction and mechanical equipment, including trucks, trailers, batch plants, paving machines, bulldozers, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and asphalt paving equipment.

• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with various units of measure.

Employees frequently sit, climb, and use hands for handling and feeling. Occasionally, employees stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
