Role Description
Working as an Onboarding / Compliance Administrator, you will support the compliance team with day-to-day regulatory and administrative tasks, assisting the Compliance Manager and wider team to ensure all work is completed to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining accurate records and supporting compliance processes in line with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Review and assess potential new business
- Advise Business Development on due diligence for potential new business
- Work closely with business development team and New Business Committee, providing input on potential new business
- Maintain spreadsheets for managing compliance data
- Assist with gathering data for MI reports and regulatory returns
- Assist in maintaining regulatory registers as required by the Isle of Man FSA, ensuring they are completed and up to date
- Keep up to date on regulatory knowledge and requirement
- Assist with external bodies where needed such as banks, PNB third parties, auditors and IOM FSA etc.
- Review, assess and communicate announcements from the regulatory authority such as, sanction updates with HOC and compliance team
- Assist with undertaking client risk assessments
- Conduct compliance ongoing monitoring, tracking findings through to resolution
- Conduct PEP Reviews, screening and enhanced due diligence activities If assigned by HOGC: review, assess and discount any automatic screening flagged on system Inscope AML, assisting with additional open searches where required
- Identify regulatory and operational compliance issues that may arise
- Understand and assist with the implementation and update of compliance procedures and policies
- Report any findings from compliance reviews to the Compliance Manager and Head of Compliance
- Provide advice and guidance to 1
LoD on any compliance matters raised, maintaining an open and collaborative relationship which is integral to our business - Assist with training where required
- Be willing and committed to study with the International Compliance Association and undertake required annual CPD
