We are looking for a proactive, self‑motivated experienced Technical Vendor Manager within our Technology Team.
Reporting into the Procurement Lead, the successful candidate will manage the relationships with third party vendors providing services to IFGL, its brands and cross functional teams.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that suppliers are conform ant to Group Policies and Company Standards, taking action when they aren’t
- Building and running robust commercial and procurement approach as part of our Group Procurement and Vendor Management practices
- Onboarding new suppliers in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Performing segmentation reviews and regular supplier performance reviews
- Raise risks using the IFGL Technology and IFGL Risk processes and tooling as appropriate
- Assisting the IT Contract and Procurement Specialist with Purchase Orders when required
To ensure that this role is carried out to the desired level, the successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:
- Thorough knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain Management practices
- Experience working as a relationship manager, relationship owner or supply chain manager capacity previously – preferably within Financial Services
- Experience of using Office 365 collaboration tooling
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure with high accuracy
