Copper Queen Community Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Level 3 Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) team on a PRN day or night shifts basis. This position offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for experienced nurses looking to provide high-quality patient care on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities:Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established hospital and nursing policies.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for patients in the Med/Surg unit.
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team promptly.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Document patient care and progress accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, quality care.
Provide patient and family education and support.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications:Current and valid RN license in the state of Arizona (or compact license).
Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience preferred.
BLS certification (required).
ACLS certification (preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
