Are you looking for a diverse and rewarding veterinary role in a supportive, well-equipped practice? Our large mixed practice, with five branches across the Isle of Man, provides care for small animals, exotics, farm animals, equine, and local wildlife. With such variety, no two days are ever the same, giving our clinicians the chance to thrive in a truly stimulating environment.
APractice Where You Can Thrive
A typical four-day workweek includes two days of consulting, one day managing emergency and critical care cases, and one day in surgery. Most of your time will be spent at our main branch, where we carry out a wide range of procedures, from routine surgeries to more complex cases. While we strive to manage cases in-house with our advanced clinical facilities, there is the option to refer off-island if necessary.
We are committed to ongoing investment in our practice, providing excellent clinical equipment to support our team. Our ethos is built on inclusivity, teamwork, and a shared passion for delivering the highest standard of care to our patients, clients, and colleagues. Our clients are truly wonderful—welcoming, dedicated, and deeply invested in the health and welfare of their pets.
Our dedicated team of nurses plays a vital role in the practice, not only assisting in clinics but also running their own consultations, including health checks, post-op care, second vaccinations, and wellness clinics.
We also collaborate with the Curraghs Wildlife Park, offering opportunities to work with a diverse range of animals, including penguins, large cats, monkeys, and more.
Supporting the Community We’re Proud to ServeWe believe in giving back and actively support a range of local charities, including Manx Wild Bird Aid, Pets Aid League, Guide Dogs for the Blind, and the Home of Rest for Old Horses. Whether it’s caring for companion animals or supporting wildlife rescue, we’re proud of the role we play in our community.
A Supportive Team That Encourages GrowthYou’ll be joining a talented and diverse team of 17 Veterinary Surgeons, 14 Registered Veterinary Nurses, and 20 support staff, including BVRA-registered members and certificate holders in GP Cert SA Med and Cert AVP Sheep. We also have a visiting cardiology specialist and team members currently pursuing certifications in ophthalmology, exotics, and postgraduate studies. If you’re looking to further your expertise, we actively encourage and support career growth and certificate opportunities.
