PositionThe School of Science and Engineering at Saint Louis University (SLU) seeks a dynamic, collegial, collaborative, and creative adjunct faculty member for Fall-2025 to teach an undergraduate course in Thermodynamics. Applicants should have technical expertise and be motivated to deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences to engineering students in a team-oriented, student-focused environment. This unique opportunity provides a platform for tomorrow’s engineers to learn from the industry’s top talent while broadly fostering industry-university relationships.
Interested applicants should possess technical proficiency and practical experience in the disciplinary areas they intend to teach and hold a Ph.D. degree or an M.S. degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
Course Topics for Thermodynamics: Properties, characteristics and fundamental equations of gases, application of first and second laws of thermodynamics in evaluation of engines, cycles and processes.
