Adjunct Faculty in Transportation Engineering
The Department of Civil Engineering at Saint Louis University is seeking part-time adjunct faculty on an ongoing basis to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in transportation engineering. Qualified applicants will be reviewed and placed in a pool to be contacted as openings become available. Some of the courses which adjuncts may be asked to teach include:
- Transportation Engineering
- Transportation Engineering Lab
- Traffic Engineering
- Multimodal Roadway Safety
- Urban Transportation Planning
- Traffic Simulation and Modelling
Adjunct taught classes are in person. A minimum of a master’s degree in civil engineering or a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with seven years of industry experience is required. Teaching experience or other work experience in transportation engineering or a related field is preferred.
