DescriptionThis position will supervise and facilitate operations within a pet food ingredient/protein conversion facility that will include but is not limited to production goals, quality, safety, employee morale, etc. The supervisor will also communicate with all hourly partners and be the liaison between upper management and the hourly partners to ensure that objectives are achieved. This supervisor will ensure that our customer requirements are met.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily production, quality control, and safety standards within the protein conversion facility.
- Communicate operational objectives to hourly staff and act as a liaison to upper management.
- Ensure customer requirements and quality benchmarks are met and maintained.
- Knowledge or ability to learn Protein Conversion operations
- Ability to deal with a diversified workforce
- Ability to communicate with a varied range of customers, management and partners
- Some mechanical knowledge about pressure vessels, augers and conveyors
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Basic math skills
High School Diploma required with 5 years experience preferred in management/related field.
