Data Center Technician - Douglasville, GA

Core Weave is an AI cloud infrastructure company that delivers compute platforms for artificial intelligence workloads. This Data Center Technician role is a hands-on, on-site position within the Data Center Operations team responsible for building, maintaining, and operating physical infrastructure across Core Weave's facilities.

• Assemble, rack, stack, and maintain data center server, storage, and networking hardware
• Conduct hardware and network diagnostics on live and offline systems, troubleshoot issues, replace components, and perform physical repairs
• Support equipment installations, device provisioning, and operating system installations with increasing complexity as experience grows
• Maintain structured cabling, cable management, and adhere to physical and cybersecurity protocols
• Maintain inventory records, ticket updates, and contribute to standard operating procedures and technical documentation
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule and respond on-site within 60 minutes for incident support

• Hands-on experience or coursework in computer hardware assembly, installation, and physical/logical troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and fundamental networking concepts
• Strong problem-solving ability, ability to follow established procedures, prioritize tasks, and recognize when to Escalate
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a collaborative mindset and commitment to high reliability standards
• Willingness to build technical skills, learn new systems, and take on responsibilities matching your experience level
• Ability to perform physical duties including moving equipment up to 50 lbs, working in confined spaces, and operating in data center temperature ranges 60°F–90°F
• Must live within 60 minutes of Douglasville, GA site to support on-call responsibilities

• Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Networking, or related field
• Hands-on experience in enterprise or commercial data center environments
• Experience with Linux OS administration, command-line tools, and device provisioning
• Scripting and automation experience with Python, Bash, or shell scripts
• Networking experience with Cisco IOS, Juniper Junos, or enterprise switch/router configurations
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, or Linux+

Base salary $65,000–$85,000 determined by job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
