- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor residents' health and progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide ongoing training and professional development for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Recruit, train, and supervise nursing staff, ensuring they provide quality care in alignment with community standards.
- Act as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers to address concerns and promote resident rights and satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and operational efficiency.
- Monitor compliance with state regulations and accreditation standards, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license for state applying.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a long-term care or assisted living environment.
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills, including assessment and care planning.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to residents.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
