Immediate need for a Registered Nurse (RN) - General Surgery - Peri-Op
. This is a 06+ month contract PRN (as-needed), Day Shift opportunity located in Douglasville, Georgia (Onsite).

Pay Range: $42 - $48 per hour. Competitive compensation based on experience. Comprehensive Benefits Package:

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation for pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative surgical patients.
• Coordinate and document safe patient care, promoting effective communication within the surgical team.
• Prepare patients for surgery, assist in the operating room as needed, monitor patients in recovery (PACU), administer medications, provide patient/family education, and ensure precise documentation.
• Complete all required competencies and education; serve as a preceptor/mentor and model professional nursing practice.
• Promote evidence-based practice and participate in performance improvement. Uphold all policies, procedures, and accreditation standards (e.g., TJC Patient Safety Goals).

• Current RN license in the State of Georgia or a Multi-State Compact License.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (required upon hire).
• Minimum 1 year of recent, relevant acute care clinical nursing experience.
• Experience in surgical, perioperative, or procedural nursing.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (required);
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred).
• PALS and/or NRP certification is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of sterile technique, surgical procedures, and post-anesthesia recovery.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.
