Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process
- Partner with patients, families, and care teams to ensure safe, quality care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in shared governance
- Mentor and precept other nurses, supporting professional growth
- Participate in performance improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives
- Ensure efficient use of resources and compliance with policies and standards
- Diploma or Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Active RN license (GA or Compact)
- BLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred or required within 180 days (unit-specific)
- CPR certification required
- Minimum 1-year professional nursing experience; critical care or clinic experience preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and problem-solving skills
