WHAT YOU’LL DOEssential Functions (80%):
Inventory Monitoring & Ordering (35%)
- Monitor inventory levels for all departments and place orders as needed
- Anticipate needs based on sales trends and seasonal fluctuations
Receiving & Quality Control (25%)
- Receive, check, and log all produce and product deliveries for accuracy and quality
- Communicate discrepancies or quality issues to vendors and management
Shrinkage Tracking & Reporting (20%)
- Track all shrinkage (loss, damage, spoilage) and maintain accurate records
- Report inventory discrepancies and support loss prevention initiatives
Scan/Tag & System Updates (10%)
- Use scanning equipment to update inventory counts and ensure system accuracy
Team Support (if applicable) (10%)
- Train team members on inventory procedures and loss prevention standards
Non‑Essential Functions (20%):
- Assist with physical inventory counts
- Support additional retail operations as assigned
Performance Metrics:
- Inventory accuracy rates
- Shrinkage and loss reduction
- Timeliness and accuracy of receiving and logging deliveries
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year experience in retail inventory or stock management
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to use scanning/tagging equipment and inventory software
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Flexible schedule, including weekends or evenings as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with produce or wellness products
- Inventory management training a plus
