• Pay Weekly: $1320 or more
• Hours per Week: 45+ hours per week
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.53 per mile (average 1900 miles per week)
• Solo Stops Pay: $23.75 per stop (average 12 stops per week)
• Per Diem Pay: $28.00 per night (1‑3 nights per week)
• Overnights for Route:
  Ryder‑booked hotel or sleeper

• Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight:

• Endorsements:
  Hazmat within 90 days of hire (Ryder will reimburse cost and provide training support)
• Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 roadside maintenance, and company drivers fuel the trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide

• Uniforms, cell phone, and boot allowance provided

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check (drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years)
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A verifiable experience: 9 months within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
