Academics Canterbury is recruiting on behalf of a caring and supportive SEN school in Dover that provides outstanding education for children with a wide range of additional needs. The school fosters an inclusive, welcoming environment where pupils are encouraged to grow in confidence and develop a strong understanding of their own emotions as well as those of others.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Secondary Teacher who can bring creativity, patience, and enthusiasm to the classroom while supporting students with SEMH and ADHD. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with a range of additional needs (SEMH/ADHD)
  • Develop and implement personalised learning plans (EHCPs) that support academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
  • Confidently deliver a diversity of Speech and Language Therapy interventions
  • Use creative, multisensory approaches to make learning accessible and enjoyable for all
  • Track progress, assess learning outcomes, and contribute to whole-school development.
  • Ensure safeguarding of students

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - Essential

Excellent on‑site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students

Salary: £130 – £200 per day, Mon‑Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only

You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply – no Visa sponsorship
