Job Title: Cover Supervisor – Secondary School

Location: Tower Hamlets, East London

Pay: £110–£140 per day

Start: ASAP

Contract: Full-time or flexible supply

We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Tower Hamlets that’s looking for a confident Cover Supervisor to step in and keep learning ticking along when teachers are away. The students are lively, the behaviour policies are clear, and SLT are hands‑on and supportive, no guesswork, no sink‑or‑swim vibes.

• Supervising pre‑set lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Keeping classrooms calm, focused, and purposeful
• Supporting students with their work and routines
• Being a positive, steady presence in the school day

• Have experience working with young people in a school or similar setting
• Are confident managing a classroom and building quick rapport
• Are considering a future in teaching, or enjoy the variety of school life
• Like knowing what you’re earning, £120–£140 per day, paid weekly

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
