We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant ( SEN )  to join a specialist SEMH and ASC school based in Dover. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people who require consistency, understanding, and positive role models to help them thrive both academically and emotionally.

The Role

Provide 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils engage with learning and regulate emotions

Assist with implementing behaviour support strategies and personalised learning plans

Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may present with challenging behaviour

Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

Have experience working with SEMH, ASC, or additional needs (school, care, youth work or similar settings)

Are calm, resilient, and patient, with a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people

Can demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills

Are adaptable, proactive, and confident in managing behaviour positively

** Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students

** £90 - £100 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only

** You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship

** On site parking included
