• Enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and willing to engage with the school community.
• Confident in the key competencies of the subject area with a broad knowledge base and understanding of curriculum requirements to guide student learning.
• Able to analyse assessment data to inform lesson planning and structure.
• Establish and maintain pupil behaviour standards to create an orderly and productive environment.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Eligibility for British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Proven classroom experience or training.
