A leading Tower Hamlets Prep school is seeking to appoint an Independent School Teacher to join their supportive and friendly small team from September 2026.

This small 1‑form entry independent prep school caters for students from 3 to 11 years of age. The school provides a stimulating and engaging environment in which students achieve high academic results while promoting holistic development. It is a bilingual environment offering both French and English curricula. The school provides varied extracurricular activities and excellent resources for staff. Small class sizes of up to 15 pupils per class and a positive ethos supported by pastoral care create a supportive learning environment.

Location:

Canary Wharf area.

As an Independent School Teacher you will ensure that KS2 pupils receive a high‑quality education designed to promote excitement, enjoyment and enthusiasm in learning and to help them pursue excellence. You will create an environment where pupils feel valued, personal endeavour and responsibility are fostered, and they are prepared for common entrance exams needed for selective independent schools. Class sizes are small (maximum 15 pupils).

Planning has been largely prepared and will need updating to reflect student progress.

• Bachelor of Education or PGCE qualification.
• Relevant experience in a similar environment.
• QTS and experience in a similar environment desirable but not essential.
• Prepared to plan and update curriculum.
